How does data from your assets get organised? How can it be made meaningful?

Asset Data Templates

We use a system called "asset data templates" (ADTs). Asset Data Templates (ADTs) are the "lens" through which data from an asset can be interpreted in a meaningful way. 

The ADT specifies how that data is mapped onto meaningful information, such as temperature, flow rate, pressure, a high pressure alarm, physical location, and so on.

They also define how data is viewed: whether it should be shown on a graph, gauge, and so on.

The Assetwolf back-office system allows fleet administrators to create and edit ADTs. 

Graphs, gauges, maps and other visuals

Based on Asset Data Templates, a fleet administrator can define how data should be visualised by customers. 

There are a range of high quality visual tools, such as graphs, gauges, maps; and custom tools can be created for specialised types of data.

Organising assets by ADT

If you have assets of a similar product type, they will typically be viewed using the same Asset Data Template.

This way, when your customers acquire new assets, the data from those assets falls into place and is immediately understandable.

If you add a new product line, the fleet administrator would create a new ADT to describe how those products' data should be represented on the portal.

Customer account management

Customer account management - controlling which customers can sign in and what they can do - is taken care of by the Assetwolf web-based software.

It takes care of security, while providing a customer administration system so that your fleet administrators can control which customers have access to which data.
